Accounting and Tax Services

Dick Klein opened and operated his accounting practice in 1969.  He has always continued his education culminating in the attaining of the coveted “Enrolled Agent” status in 2009.  Enrolled Agents are America’s Tax Experts (if anyone can be an expert of a law which is composed of 150,000 pages).  He can now represent clients before all facets of the Internal Revenue Service and is licensed in all 50 states.  He is representing clients from the state of Washington to that of Florida and has set up his office with all of the grand electronic capacities which allow the information sharing with those distant clients.  He is a return generator with the Internal Revenue Service, allowing full electronic filing of tax returns.  He is a member of E-services and, as such, has numerous electronic communications with the IRS.

As an Enrolled agent, Mr. Klein is required to take 30 hours of continued education per year.  He, of course, proudly participates in many more hours than those required.  Only enrolled agents are required to demonstrate to the IRS their competence in all areas of taxation, representation and ethics before they are given unlimited representation rights before the IRS.  Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who are state licensed and who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all enrolled agents specialize in taxation.

The accounting office is at 1643 24th St. W., Suite 205 in Billings, Mt.  Mr. Klein’s office is there along with the cheerful staff ready to help in anything you need from bookkeeping services, payroll services, or clerical needs of all sorts.  They can be reached at 406-294-2906 and the office hours are from eight to five, Monday through Friday.
